Registration

You can join CESA by completing the online registration. CESA's membership agreement will be revised shortly to allow producers obligated by the BC Recycling Regulation to join CESA for the expanded product types that will be added by July 1, 2012. Please contact Julie at Julie@cesarecycling.ca for more information.

Members obligated on the October 1, 2011 start-date (small appliances) are encouraged to join as soon as possible.  Click on the CESA Member Registration & Reporting button (on the right) to access the link to the registration and reporting system.

If you determine that you are not obligated under the BC Recycling Regulation, we request that you email and advise us of the basis for your decision.

Reporting

Members will file reports on the quantity sold (in units) and will remit environmental handling fees (EHFs) to the program.

Reporting will be on a monthly basis using the online reporting system. Reports and fee remittances will be due by the end of the month following the reporting period (e.g. sales in October must be reported and received by the Program before the end of November). Fees payable by members to the program are subject to applicable taxes (HST or GST and PST).
